With this film, Spike Lee denounces the violence done to blacks

As in the majority of his films, Spike Lee once again commits himself to the black cause and against racism. The director denounces the mistreatment of black people during the Vietnam War.

“Da 5 Bloods”: an action film with a historical backdrop

The feature is being released on the platform as the world is shaken by demonstrations against police violence following the death of African-American George Floyd.

Throughout the film, there are many metaphors about the United States, such as President Donald Trump, who is compared to the highly toxic chemical compound that the U.S. military was spraying on the forest.

Thus, this current affairs feature is an adventure film that has a strong message to convey.
