Bisexual Marvel characters
If these words may seem vague, Star-Lord does not explicitly specify his relationship with the two humanoids, it is Al Ewing its author who confirmed it.
The British author also wrote a version centered on Loki (Thor’s Machiavellian brother) in 2014, in which he already confirmed that the god was bisexual and non-binary.
In a Tumblr post, Al Ewing wrote “ Loki is bi and I will come back to that. He will change gender occasionally “.
If this revelation is likely to make noise among fans of the comic and Marvel, nothing is less certain for the future of Star-Lord in the cinema. The third installment is set to begin filming at the end of 2021 and its director, James Gunn, has indicated that few changes have been made to the script.
Do these changes relate to Star-Lord’s sexual orientation? For now, Marvel Studios has not reacted yet and very little information regarding Guardians of the Galaxy 3 have been disclosed.
Finally, some fans are wondering if Chris Pratt, his lead performer, would think of playing an openly bisexual Star-Lord. The actor has indeed been criticized several times because he attends a church ” sadly anti-LGBTQ According to Elliot Page.
See you in 2023.
