To support a young college student who was being harassed at school, bikers escorted him out of school last Friday in Tours.
A strange horde was waiting in front of the Montaigne college in Tours (Indre-et-Loire) on Friday evening. About fifteen bikers had gathered in front of the school to support Valentin, a 12-year-old schoolboy who is a victim of school harassment.
These “bikers” are part of an association called “Lag Spirit” which brings together several motorcycle enthusiasts from the ranks of the police, customs and gendarmerie.
Often confronted with the problem of harassment in schools, these officials work to ensure that victims do not feel isolated.

“You are not alone in the face of bullying! »
On their big engines, they picked up the young teenager when he left school and escorted him home to show him that he could count on them.
« He had a lot of problems at his old place. We come to support him, show him we’re there, show him he’s not alone. “, explains Oly, president of Lag Spirit, to our colleagues of France Bleu.
« For having taken several complaints, which do not always succeed, that we see the distress of these children, we want to accompany them and help them. “he says.

In addition to this accompaniment which reassures the victims, the Lag Spirit are very much involved with the families – as was the case with the parents of the young Valentin – by giving them precious help in the steps to be taken, when they wish to lodge a complaint or inform the rectorship.
« You’re not alone in the face of bullying! ». This is the message they intend to convey through their actions. This is already the third time that the association has carried out this type of operation for the greatest happiness of the children.
Valentin, who had been harassed in his previous school, is feeling much better and ” secure “…from being around these big-hearted bikers…

« I feel even safer, we’re sure the others won’t bother me anymore… “The boy, who says he hasn’t been harassed since his arrival at Montaigne College, is delighted.
It must be said that with such bodyguards, he has a massive deterrent “weapon” at his disposal!
