Focus today on a highly anticipated series that arrives on Netflix this Friday. Presentation.
This message is addressed to all fans of Netflix thriller, the new series that is coming to the famous VOD platform should delight you!
The aptly named “In the Woods”, adapted from the eponymous novel written by suspense master Harlan Coben, is indeed available on Netflix this Friday.
And we might as well warn you right away, you’re not ready for this series that could get you hooked very quickly.
A series in the image of Harlan Coben’s work, frightening and full of suspense.
On the menu of this 6-episode drama – not recommended for under-16s – is a forest as dark as it is mysterious, containing a heavy secret, a man haunted by his past and a gruelling investigation that goes from one twist to the next.
In contrast to the book, this time the story takes place in Poland and not in New Jersey, as in the original work.
Alternating between past and present, the series focuses on the character of Pawel Kopinski, a former camp counsellor who finds himself caught up in painful memories following the reopening of an investigation into the disappearance 25 years earlier of four children, including his own sister Kamila, from a summer camp where he worked.
Perfect ingredients for a stroll through the always very scary world of Coben, who has signed for 14 adaptations of his novels with Netflix. “Dans les bois” being the second one after the series “Intimidation”, released last January.
So you know what you have to do, so book your evening to enjoy this great achievement.
