Michel Blanc and François Berléand in the cast

Regarding the scenario of the film, Jeff Tuche will resign as President of the Republic in order to return to Bouzolles. With the end of the year holidays approaching, his wife Cathy will wish to see her sister and her husband again, with whom Jeff doesn’t get along.

During a reconciliation lunch, many disproportionate debates will take place on the theme of over-consumption.

New actors will join the cast such as François Berléand and Michel Blanc, who will play Jeff’s brother-in-law.

The Tuche 4 scenario modified during containment

Olivier Baroux’s comedy underwent some changes during the lockdown.

With only three weeks of shooting remaining, some scenes had to be rewritten. They would have required a hundred extras, which had become impossible because of the health and social distancing measures that had to be respected.

The film won’t be about the Covid-19 outbreak. However, Jean-Paul Rouve submits the idea that this aspect could appear in a sequel.

“We love Les Tuche so much that we hope to continue. So we write down everything, all the moments of life, and as soon as there are social themes, we’re necessarily interested”.explained the actor.

We will still have to wait to see this fourth part, which will be released in theatres on December 9, 2020.
