Nostalgia alert. The Mystère et Cie team led by Sammy and Scooby-Doo is unveiled in a first-ever trailer.
“What’s up, Scooby-Doo?” This credits will surely bring back good memories. We all grew up with the Scooby-Doo series. Broadcast since 1975 in France, the series has reached several generations of children who have followed the adventures of the most famous detective dog and his master Sammy, both as fearful as they are greedy.
After two live-action films in the early 2000s, Scooby-Doo, Samy, Véra, Daphne, Fred and their mythical van Mystery Machine will make their comeback in a new film in the cinema. Soberly entitled Scooby-Doo, the film, made in animated form, will tell us about the genesis of the encounter between Sammy and Scooby-Doo during their childhood, as well as their very first investigation with the (already) apprentice detectives Fred, Véra and Daphne.
Produced by Warner Bros., the team will investigate the mystery of a “new ocalypse dog “global, a conspiracy to” release the ghost dog Cerberus ». In the trailer, we also learn that Sammy and Scooby are mysteriously kidnapped by a flying vehicle while the rest of the team is trying to solve their disappearance.
The film doesn’t stop there since the actors who lend their voices to the characters in the original version bring together a cast of stars led by Zac Efron as Fred, Amanda Seyfried as Daphne, Gina Rodriguez as Vera and Will Forte as Sammy. The film should be released on May 15, 2020 in the United States.
For the moment, no release date planned in France has been communicated, nor the casting of French voices. Until then, you can always console yourself with the trailer to wait.
