Martin Scorsese’s much-anticipated “The Irishman”, starring Al Pacino and Robert de Niro, is now available on Netflix.

The wait was long and if the fans had had to be patient and content with the crumbs offered by a very tempting trailer, they can finally rejoice.

“The Irishman”, Martin Scorcese’s latest film, starring the mythical actor duo Al Pacino-Robert de Niro, is finally available on Netflix since 9:01 am this morning.

Highly anticipated, the feature film, which is based on the life of American trade unionist and hitman Frank Sheeran, offers a 5-star cast.

Alongside the two sacred monsters Al Pacino and Robert De Niro – who are sharing the bill for the fourth time in their careers after “Godfather 2”, “Heat” and “Law and Order” – are Joe Pesci (the unforgettable Nicky Santoro in “Casino”) and Bobby Cannavale, seen in the hit series “Boardwalk Empire”.

Even before its official release, the press was already unanimous and the film – in which Netflix invested more than €150m – was critically acclaimed.

It remains to be seen whether the work will live up to the public’s expectations, but when you know Martin Scorsese, there is no reason to doubt it.
